Griffin is an independent security consultancy whose constituent divisions have been providing consultancy, training and recruitment services to corporate clients and Government Agencies for the past 17 years. Griffin provides a full range of security services. We have a well-established track record and a good reputation with government and corporations both within the UK and overseas. We have an excellent understanding of key security and contingency issues and their practical solutions. Our expertise and experience in security risk assessment and management is based on the principles of ISO/IEC 27001 – Information Security; security policies and procedures; BS 25999-1:2006 - Business Continuity Management, Physical/Personnel security best practice and application and related topics. In addition, we have undertaken counter-terrorist surveys of major shopping centres; airport baggage and cargo handling procedures; physical security reviews of installations; corporate investigations and the screening of employees and contracted personnel. Griffin regularly undertakes risk analysis and management reviews and security audit/compliance check projects, including security ‘health-checks’, the production of security policies and other key security control documents, for clients from UK Government, to ‘household name’ commercial organisations covering all sectors of business. In addition to its commercial and private sector clients, Griffin was until recently contracted as the security and business continuity advisors to Government Offices for the English Regions including the application of the Civil Contingencies Act to the Critical National Infrastructure. The nature of these activities requires that Griffin is trusted to maintain the confidentiality of its clients.
