Isle Systems have developed the Personnel Protection System (PPS) which enables organisations to internally manage, control and relay alerts from personnel or assets, no matter where they are and without the costs of monitoring services. Alert activation can be achieved through voice calls or text messages from standard mobile or fixed phones, dedicated personnel safety devices, GPS trackers, satellite phones, etc.. Alerts received by the PPS are automatically, in a matter of seconds, delivered to PC screens and/or phones using SMS text messaging. All incoming voice and SMS alerts are recorded and relayed to response personnel. This means that the PPS can process multiple alerts simultaneously and deliver these alerts based on a simple set of rules directly to response personnel’s PC screens and mobile phones.
Advanced mapping solutions are also available when using PlacePoint and CampusPoint plug-ins. These utilise either internet street mapping services, off the shelf mapping software or specific CAD drawings, Aerial photographs, digital maps or any other reference images which are to scale. These maps are accessible using PC’s or any mobile phone with a colour screen and internet access. When using GPS enabled devices for your lone workers, you can add additional detail about a specific place or location (e.g. area has higher than normal security risk, do not enter if dogs are running free, etc..) This information will be automatically presented to response personnel in the event of an alert being generated from this location.
Each user or device can have a different group of people associated with it as recipients of alerts. There are no monitoring costs associated with the system as all incoming alerts are automatically relayed to relevant personnel.
As there is no finite way of how to set the Personnel Protection System up, your requirements will depict on how many systems, how many dedicated devices, use mobile and/or landline phones currently issued and what optional plug-ins you need.
